Welcome to the OKS Ameridial Homeworking information page.  We frequently hear from folks who simply want to know more about how working from home actually works.  You will find answers to many of those questions here, along with information on how to contact an office near you.

 

1.                 Q: What do I need in terms of equipment to be able to work from home?

A:  Your computer must be equipped with Windows XP, 256MB RAM, 1GB free hard drive space and a high speed internet connection (DSL preferable 256 or higher upload speed or Cable ONLY… sorry no dial up or satellite ISP’s).  You will also need a USB headset however this will be explained to you further in training.  A home telephone is not always required but in special circumstances may be.  Please inquire in your interview for more information.  If you would like to check to see if your computer meets the minimum system requirements please click here: http://webserver.oksameridial.com/hw/

 

2.                 Q: What does OKS Ameridial do?

A:  OKS Ameridial World wide is a telemarketing service bureau that provides business solutions for companies and organizations using telemarketing services.  In most offices our homeworking program focuses on volunteer recruitment for non-profit organizations.  In select locations we focus on commercial inbound opportunities.

 

3.                 Q: Is there an office located near my home?

A: OKS Ameridial has locations in North Canton, Cambridge, Minerva, New Philadelphia, Perry Township, Barberton and Wooster.  We however do not currently offer homeworking opportunities at all locations.  If you are interested in homeworking you may inquire at the following sites:

4.                 Q: What does an employee who works from home make per hour?

A: The base pay for homeworking employees is $7.00 plus the opportunity to earn commission.  The commission structure will be explained during training.

 

5.                 Q: Is this position full or part time?

A: We require each homeworker to work a minimum 20 hours per week however you are permitted to work UP TO 40 hours each week.

 

6.                 Q: Do I need to come into the office at anytime?

A:  Our training period lasts for your first 25 hours of employment which is required to be done from the office nearest you.  At the end of this 25 hour period your performance will be evaluated and if you are meeting the minimum requirements you would be permitted to continue your work from home.  If you are falling short of your goals we will continue to assist you in attaining the results needed in the office.  Each month you would have a meeting with your personal coach at the office to learn new techniques and discuss areas you feel we can assist you in.  You would also be asked to attend additional trainings at the office as necessary when new projects are introduced.
